Animal Welfare

Animals are loyal friends and companions to many of us.  Our furry friends provide us with unconditional love and emotional support. Sadly, many of our pets live in shelters or rescue organizations.  They seek loving homes or need our help in other ways.  By donating cat litter to animal shelters across America, Oil-Dri is able to help these organizations allocate resources towards other necessities.

LITTER FOR GOOD®

For decades, Oil-Dri has donated its cat litter to animals in need, but in January of 2018, we launched our Cat’s Pride Litter for Good™ program. For every jug of Cat’s Pride® litter purchased, we donate a pound of litter to shelters across America to help more cats find their forever homes. These donations are essential to helping shelters reallocate resources toward other necessities such as medical care, education programs, and spaying & neutering. To date*, the program has donated more than 14 million pounds of litter. Consumers can join our Cat’s Pride Club to nominate a shelter of choice for litter donations. The more shelter nominations and Cat’s Pride scoopable jugs sold, the more litter that is donated to animal welfare organization around the United States.  There are currently over 3,700 shelters registered for the Litter for Good program and that list keeps growing. Visit our site to learn more about the Litter for Good® program.
